Hello and welcome to Storymakers, the creative writing club for budding authors.
Stop Press: We are going virtual! Until further notice, will be conducting all of our courses and workshops online.
Whether you have a reluctant writer or a budding author, the Storymakers Creative Writing Club has something to offer.
With fun, lively and imaginative weekly sessions, children of all abilities can gain confidence with their writing.
Working in small groups (up to eight), the Storymakers Writing Club for children aims to harness imaginations and develop creativity in a fun and safe environment.
I am Nikki Young, author of The Mystery of the Disappearing Underpants and Time School: We Will Remember Them. I set up Storymakers in 2017. My aim is to help children improve their writing, but even more importantly, to find enjoyment in the process. I work with children in small groups or individually because I believe this type of environment helps them feel secure and gain confidence.
Please get in touch to find out how I can support your child.
If you’re a parent, looking for creative writing and general English support, you will find details on this website of my weekly groups, Saturday sessions, holiday workshops and individual 1:1 lessons. You will also find details of specific mentoring for your budding author.
>h3>Are you a teacher looking to work with an author? I offer creative writing workshops for schools. You can find details of those here, but if you’d like to talk about something specific or bespoke, please feel free to contact me.
