Book-Writing Course

Your child can become a published author!

Does your child love writing? They’ve been writing a book but have been unable to finish it? They dream of becoming an author one day?

The Book-Writing Course could be just what you’re looking for.

During the course of one week, the children who enrol on this book-writing course will plan and write a story, guided by a published author and writing coach. Not only will they be taken step-by-step through the process with a mentor, they will also receive editorial feedback. At the end of this week, and once they have completed the story, the children will receive it in the post as a published hardback book. This is included in the price of the book-writing workshop (up to 24 pages – longer stories may incur a small extra charge).

Completed stories will also be displayed on an author gallery whereby further orders of the book may be purchased. See previous stories completed on this course by visiting the gallery.

The book-writing course covers everything from idea conception, plotting and planning, to writing each stage of the story. Editorial feedback will ensure the story is the best it can be before final publication.

We do this course for one hour a day over five days, 9.30 – 10.30 a.m.

Suitable for children in KS2.
