The Writer Buds group is held online on a Tuesday evening at 6-7 p.m. (UK time).
The Writer Buds explore different styles of writing, including both fiction and non fiction. Each week, we focus on a new project, the children being guided through the process each step of the way, but with the option to include and add their own ideas. We might explore poetry one week, balanced arguments the next. The important thing about this group is that it explores creative writing in all forms, not just stories.
Creative, lively and imaginative, this group has something for everyone and will open your child’s eyes to a wide range of writing styles. If you have a child who is preparing for the creative writing element of the 11+ entrance exams, this group is idea for them to gain weekly practice and to improve their confidence in writing.
The Writer Buds meet online weekly during term time on Tuesday evenings from 6-7 p.m. (UK time). Pay termly at a cost of £190 for ten weeks, or subscribe to the academic year and spread the cost over 12 months at £42.50 per month (reducing the weekly session cost to £17).
