Writer Buds

The Writer Buds explore different styles of writing, both fiction and non-fiction. Creative, lively and imaginative, this group has something for everyone. It will open your children’s eyes to a wide range of writing styles, firing up their imagination and boosting their writing confidence.

The Writer Buds meet weekly on Tuesday evenings, from 6-7 p.m. (UK time) SUITABLE FOR 8-11 YEAR-OLDS.

The dates for the next term are:
9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th September, 7th October HALF TERM 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th November, 2nd December.

Each term costs £180 (10 weeks). Add to cart now to purchase one term.

OR, sign up for the academic year (three terms) and split the cost over 12 months at £40 per month, bringing the price of the sessions down to £16 each. Please note that in signing up to this you agree to the three terms as it is a payment plan and not a subscription.

Is your child sitting 11 Plus or secondary school entrance examinations in Year 6?

Though not exclusively so, the Writer Buds group is ideal for those who are working towards Year 6 school entrance examinations. Many of these exams include a creative writing element, whether that be a story, a recount, a balanced argument or something similar.

We work on something different each week, focusing on one set piece per lesson, taken step-by-step with guidance throughout.
